From start to finish, OSB Hellenen dominated the game, earning them the seventh win of the season (86:64). The Munich team started the game with a 9:0 run in the first three minutes, before Ansbach scored their first points. With strong defense from the guests, they lead at the end of the first quarter 23:13. The strong defense continued from the guests, throughout the first half. OSB Hellenen only allowed 10 points in the second quarter to the home team. OSB Hellenen lead 39:23 at the half. Jermaine Lippert led all scorers with 16 first-half points.

In the second half, the scoring would pick up from both teams. However, the guests would not let up their lead. Hellenen was able to hold a 13-point lead after three quarters of play 60:47.

Ansbach would make one final run in the last quarter. The home team came as close as 11 points on a layup from their top-scorer Walter Simon. The last eight minutes of the game were dominated by the guests. OSB Hellenen outscored the Piranhas 24:13 in the final 8 minutes of play. Omari Knox would score 13 of his 24 points in the last quarter. Julien Lippert lead all scorers with 25 points. David Markert and Ben Kitatu contributed 11 and 10 points. Walter Simon finished with 16 points for Ansbach.

With this win, Hellenen has taken over the 6th position pushing Ansbach to the 7th. Up next, the Munich team welcomes Breitenguessbach. The guests from Bamberg also won their previous game against Jena (86-75). Breitenguessbach sits one place ahead of Hellenen, in the 5th position. The guests have a record of 10-4 and boast the best defense in the league, allowing only 69 points per game to their opponents. On the offensive side, the team is well-balanced. They are led in scoring by big man Eric Land (15.7ppg), and guard/forward Jorg Dippold (15.2ppg). However the team gets big contributions from Sven Lorber (12.2ppg), Lucas Wagner (8.8ppg), Alexander Engel (8.1ppg), and Alexander Heide (7.6ppg).

The first game was taken by Breitenguessbach 69-54. This game was very close up until the final 10 minutes. The Bamberg team pulled away in the final quarter, while holding the Munich team to only 4 points in the last 10 minutes of play.
